One of the main strategies of the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC) is to educate and provide awareness to the community about corruption, especially among school children. For that purpose, the MACC took the initiative to use the latest technology and approaches to attract young people and increase the level of understanding and awareness of anti -corruption among them. “Augmented Reality” or AR is the latest technology that allows content such as 3D models, animations, videos, images etc. to be displayed over real-world visuals through the use of smart devices such as mobile phones, tablets or smart glasses. This technology is one of the pillars of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) which allows content to be channeled to consumers effectively while attracting consumers through attractive and interactive presentations. The MACC AR application allows users to scan the MACC official logo and if successful, a 3D model of the MACC Captain will be displayed which will present various anti -corruption content in an interactive and interesting way. Among the content and activities available include karaoke and singing 2 songs on anti -corruption, anti -corruption quizzes, information on corruption and channels to report corruption.
